Leyden High Schools: Residency Information

All students must reside with a legal guardian in-district. If the student’s legal guardian does not live in-district, the student cannot enroll in Leyden High Schools. We will physically check each residence to ensure that each student and legal guardian live within district boundaries.

Please be advised that students who are enrolled and later found not to be residents at the time of enrollment are subject to disenrollment and payment of tuition. Illinois law has made it a crime, punishable by imprisonment and fine, to falsify information regarding the residency of a student or legal guardian. We appreciate that fact that there are those outside the district who would like enroll their students with us, but our services are strictly reserved for those who live in our district.
