The AV Department has an extensive collection of media available in a variety of
formats including VHS, DVD, audio cassettes,etc., owned by the district for
use by teachers at each campus. Teachers can search for AV materials in Media Manager.

AV REQUESTS (Equipment or Materials)
To request AV equipment and/or materials, download the AV Request Form from:
East-AV (East Campus) or West-AV (West Campus) How to submit an AV request
  • Enter Generic Password and click OK
  • Either save the form to your Home Directory, then complete it and resave it; OR , open the form, complete it, then save.
  • Email form to appropriate W-AV or E-AV location.

Equipment, Facilities,
& Instructional Materials

  • Several TV/Video carts, overheads, camcorders, laserdisc players, DVD players, digital cameras, and slide projectors
  • Mobile television production cart for live video production
  • Super VHS and digital editing facilities
  • Audio Visual support for Triton College's Adult Continuing Education Program
  • Laser Discs, VHS Tapes, DVDs, Film Strips, and Audio-Cassettes are held at the East Campus, but are available for district wide use.

A subscription service from The Discovery Channel where teachers can download videos for class use. A Username and password are necessary to access the site.

  • WTTW-The webpage for the Chicago PBS station. Access to program schedules and actual streaming video programs are available.
  • C-SPAN-Covers the proceedings of the US Congress and has special sections on the Presidents, writers and books of interest.
  • CLTV-Around the clock coverage of news
    from the Chicago Tribune.
