IS HERE!
Homecoming
is full of great activities!
Ø Today
is the Staff football game at 5:45 at the West Campus followed by the Pep Rally
at 7:15 in the West Field House. Come see who will be the 2008 Homecoming King
and Queen!
Ø Saturday,
October 4 - Watch Leyden pounce the Proviso East Pirates at the varsity
football game starting at 1:30 p.m.
Ø Put on
your dancing shoes for the Homecoming Dance, Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. at the
East Campus.
Three

Purchase
your Homecoming Dance Tickets during
lunch today. The price is $13 for
singles and $25 for couples. If you are
bringing a guest who is not a Leyden student you must get a guest form signed
by the dean BEFORE you buy your tickets.
Guest forms are available in the Deans’ office or the Student Services
office.

faculty: Mr.
Cartwright and Mr. Conway’s Sports and Entertainment Marketing classes will be
hosting the faculty football game today at West Leyden High School. The game will start at 5:45 p.m. Tickets cost $2. All proceeds will go to charity. If you have any questions please see

Underclass yearbook pictures will
be taken on Thursday and Friday, October 9 and 10 in the Little Theater during
Gym, Health, and Drivers' Ed classes.
Ask your teacher for the exact date and time of your photo. Students who do not have P.E., Health, or Dr.
Ed, should have their picture taken before or after school. Payment for photos is due on the day the
pictures are taken. Additional brochures

Prudential Spirit of the Community Award
recognizes high school students who have engaged in at least one volunteer
service project in the course of the last year.
If this sounds like you, check out the scholarship website or stop by the
Student Services Office for instructions on how to apply. You have the opportunity to win up to $6,000
and a trip to Washington D.C.!

ATHLETICS
Open Gym Basketball will
be held at East Leyden's South Gym on Tuesday's and Thursday's from 3:30 - 4:30
