West Leyden Empty Bowls Event Helpers!!
When: Meeting on Tuesday, February 25thwith the Event on Thursday, February 27th
Time: Meeting 3:05-3:25Event 3:30pm - 8:00pm

What: We are looking for helpers for this year's Empty Bowls event. At this event, we serve unlimited soup in students created bowls. This is a big hit with the community and extra hands are always needed. All proceeds will benefit the Leyden Township Food Pantry.
River Grove School Family Fun Fair
Date: Friday, March 6, 2020
Time: 6:00pm - 9:00pm
Where: River Grove School, 2650 Thatcher, River Grove, IL

What: We are seeking 30 volunteers to run lots of games in two time slots. 1st Shift 6-7:30pm (need to arrive by 5:45pm for check in) and 2nd Shift 7:30 - 9:00pm (more volunteers needed for 2nd shift). Volunteers will receive a fun fair t-shirt. We would like River Grove school Alumni, but we will take any friends also.

What: We are looking for 2-4 Volunteers to help set up the Inspirational Dinner in the East Nardini Library. Volunteers will also guide the guests to the Library from the main enterance. The Volunteer hours are 4:30 pm-6:00 pm and the volunteers are welcome to stay for dinner following your volunteer hours.

When: Ongoing Saturdays
Time: 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM (or any time frame in between)

Help out at the Food 4 Life food pantry and Clothing Closet. Help guests with shopping needs or sort and hang clothing, various ‘jobs’ to do. Directly help those in our community and earn some service hours!
Students of Strength Needs Your Help

What: Students of Strength is looking for tutors to teach and mentor middle and high school students. We will be helping the student victims of hurricane Harvey, for both paid and volunteer positions. We want to help these kids get fully caught up, and we need your help before the beginning of the school year.
