Mr. Victor Giordano
I grew up in Franklin Park, Illinois, and graduated from East Leyden High School in 1999. I have had several different jobs over the years: a restaurant manager, security guard, waiter, camp counselor, warehouse associate, landscaper, construction worker, and substitute teacher. All these experiences have shaped me into a better person, husband, and teacher.
I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education- English from DePaul University and a Master's Degree in School Counseling from Northeastern Illinois University. During the summer, I volunteer as a Meals on Wheels Driver for DuPage Senior Citizens Council and as a soup kitchen volunteer through Franciscan Outreach Services.
The 2016-2017 school year will be my fifth year as a teacher at Leyden. I am currently an assistant coach for the Speech and Drama Club.
My future goals include becoming fluent in Spanish and earning my Associate's Degree in Web Development and Design.
I love playing basketball, weight training, running, reading, podcasting, and spending time with family.
