It's that time of year. Support the Leydenettes Dance Team and breast cancer month by purchasing a pink long sleeve t-shirt for only $12 dollars. Contact a current Leydenette or one of the coaches, Ms. Roman or Ms. Cullen to purchase one. (10/31)

Hey Recyclers!  If you want to help keep East Leyden GREEN and earn some service hours, join our Recycling Club today, October 18, for pick up.  Drop your stuff off in Room 292 anytime between 2:30 -3:30 and join our club members in the halls to pick up the paper and plastic.  Snacks are always provided when we are done.  Hope to see you there! - Ms. Bylinski (10/18)

Can you imagine having to live in an attic with your family for 2 years? That's what life was like for Anne Frank when she was 13 to 15 years old.  She was about the age you are right now!  Come to the West Auditorium this weekend to see your fellow Leyden students act out the timeless tale.  The play, The Diary of Anne Frank, will start at 7 p.m. tonight & Saturday night, or 3 p.m. on Sunday.  It's an impressive production and a great way to enjoy your weekend! - Ms. Rosen (10/18)

Do you know about Make a Difference Day? It is one of the largest annual single-days of service nationwide. Keep the Leyden tradition alive, and volunteer! There will be over 25 projects and 600 of your peers working together to do good right in our own backyard! Sign up with your club or at LeydenVolunteer.com.  See you Saturday, October 19! - Mr. Holthouse (10/18)

COME...IF YOU DARE!  It's Leyden's Bands and Orchestra annual Halloween Concert. Donned in costumes and with seasonal décor, hundreds of students from our Creepy Concert Band, the Ominous Orchestra, and the Sinister Symphonic Band perform some of Halloween's greatest hits, 'dead, in concert' on Wednesday, October 30, at 7 p.m., in the West Campus Auditorium. As always, the performance is free and open to the public! – Mr. Miller (10/30)
