There will be no school Monday, October 14, in honor of the Columbus Day holiday. Classes will resume Tuesday, October 15 on a regular schedule.  (10/11)

    CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES

It's that time of year. Support the Leydenettes Dance Team and breast cancer month by purchasing a pink long sleeve t-shirt for only $12 dollars. Contact a current Leydenette or one of the coaches, Ms. Roman or Ms. Cullen to purchase one. (10/31)

Are you in the mood for some White Rabbit Creamy Candy or interested in trying some rice crackers? Then, please join Ms. Diaz & Ms. Garcia on Thursday, October 17, for our next PULSE/SHARE Club meeting to eat and discuss our upcoming trip to the National Museum of Mexican Art for Dia de los Muertos. We’ll be in Room 210 from 3-3:30, all are welcome! (10/17)

Do you know about Make a Difference Day? It is one of the largest annual single-days of service nationwide. Keep the Leyden tradition alive, and volunteer! There will be over 25 projects and 600 of your peers working together to do good right in our own backyard! Sign up with your club or at LeydenVolunteer.com.  See you Saturday, October 19! See Mr. Holthouse with any questions. (10/18)

COME...IF YOU DARE!  It's Leyden's Bands and Orchestra annual Halloween Concert. Donned in costumes and with seasonal décor, hundreds of students from our Creepy Concert Band, the Ominous Orchestra, and the Sinister Symphonic Band perform some of Halloween's greatest hits, 'dead, in concert' on Wednesday, October 30, at 7 p.m., in the West Campus Auditorium. As always, the performance is free and open to the public! – Mr. Miller (10/30)

    ATHLETICS

Attention all girls interested in bowling.  The Girls’ Bowling Team will have an informational meeting Tuesday, October 15, at 3:30 in Room 231 at the West Campus.  East students can take the after-school bus to West.  Please plan on either being picked up from West, or take the 5:00 bus back to East. - Coach Aylward (10/15)
