I have been teaching at East and West Leyden since the 2005/2006 school year in the Business Education Department. I am currently teaching the following courses: Technical Support Internship (TSI), Consumer Education, Entrepreneurship, and Digital Literacy. In addition, I am a co-sponsor for the Investing Club and Video Game Club.  In regard to after school activities, I coach boys soccer, wrestling, and girls softball.

Welcome to my page! I began teaching at Leyden in 2020 with the Business Education Department. I am excited to be involved throughout many sports and clubs within the school to help make a difference in the lives of all students. I am currently teaching digital Literacy, Sports and Entertainment Marketing, and TSI. The sports I coach are basketball and baseball. I look forward to working with the tremendous people in the community and constantly striving to make a positive impact.

I began my teaching career at Leyden in 2004.  I have taught a variety of courses in the Business Education Department including Consumer Education, Digital Literacy, and Entrepreneurship.  I teach in the co.lab program (an interdisciplanary & project-based learning environment for freshmen) and sponsor the TechgURLs Club and at East Leyden.  Like many of the faculty members here, I'm also an alum!  Leyden is an important part of who I am, and I couldn't imagine teaching anywhere else.  Once an Eagle, always an Eagle!

My name is Eric McFadden.  I have been teaching in the Business Education Department at West Leyden since 2007, and I currently teach Digital Literacy, Computer Networking, TSI and Video Game Design I & II.  Prior to teaching at Leyden, I worked in outside sales.

I have been teaching at Leyden since 1999,  I am currently teaching  Digital Literacy in the co.lab Program.  I am  also the Assistant Athletic Director, Freshman Football Coach and the  Best Buddies Sponsor.  I am married with three children and am a proud grandparent to Charlotte (Charlie).  In my free time I like to go on walks, watch sports, and fish.  The best way to contract me with any questions or concerns is  at tmurphy@leyden212.org.

I have been at West Leyden High School since 2013.  I teach a variety of courses including Business Incubator, Consumer Education, Cooperative Work Program, Digital Literacy, Entrepreneurship, and Sports & Entertainment Marketing.  I am also the sponsor for two activities at West Leyden: Class Sponsor (currently class of 2022) and Mission Possible.  

Before becoming a teacher, I spent almost 8 years in the corporate world in a variety of roles in both supply chain and human resources.  The majority of my corporate career was spent in various recruiting and training roles.  I am so glad I became a teacher and couldn't be happier to be a Leyden Eagle!
