Color Guard
Membership in Leyden’s Color Guard is open to all female students.
Over 220 students strong, Leyden’s Marching Band and Color Guard give performances for countless thousands each year. Exciting performance tours have included Disney World, Cedar Point, Notre Dame, the Indiana Dunes, and Washington, D.C.
Leyden's Color Guard enjoys a rich tradition and great popularity. Ladies who join will benefit from earning academic class credit for participating while making great friendships, memories and enjoying fun performance tour opportunities.
Because Color Guard is a reasonable time commitment and smartly scheduled, students from every sport at Leyden, cheerleaders, poms, orchesis, choir, orchestra, drama, student council, homecoming court, and clubs can all also participate in Color Guard.

Eligibility Requirements
Color Guard is open to all female students. No experience is necessary because all of our girls start as beginners. We have a fantastic staff and friendly students who will teach you everything you need to know.

Procedure For Joining
Register for MUS151 (summer school course) Registration is open beginning in the spring (May).Any interested student should contact Mr. Miller or Ms. Vazquez in the band room (email addresses also below).
