East Leyden was built 90 years ago and West Leyden welcomed their first class in 1959.  District 212 has been diligent about maintaining and updating both buildings over the years. Now, it is time to focus on preparing our buildings for the next 100 years. This construction project will allow both East and West Leyden to explore a bell schedule that will be more student-centered and that will support the district goal of developing confident problem-solvers through authentic and relevant experiences. The new and updated spaces are being built with the purpose of enhancing instructional experiences for students for years to come.
