This past spring we emptied the swimming pool at East Leyden one last time and began remodeling this space to become the new wrestling practice room.  This means we will be without a pool until the new aquatic center opens in the fall of 2019.  Our current wrestling room needs to be replaced as it will serve as the foundation of the new girls' locker room.

This summer we will be completely remodeling the former wood shop, along with the 181 and 184 classrooms to a new “180 Wing”.  This space will include a new model classroom that will serve Business and English classes, a pair of classrooms that will open to one large classroom, as well as 3 additional classrooms.  Our current woodshop and classroom will move to the north side of the building where the current Autos classroom is.  These new learning spaces will be open to start the 2017 school year and will be a great segway into our larger construction project.
