    Ever wonder what it is like to serve the public to make sure that residents are safe? Train to be a 911 Emergency Dispatcher. After one year of training, candidates make upwards of $20/hour!

    3:10 pm to 5:00 pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays at East Leyden during the 2020-2021 School Year


    Topics include: Responder Safety, Legal Concepts, Interpersonal Communications, Emergency Communications Technology, Call Processing and Incident Handling, Emergency Management, Stress Management, Quality Assurance, Orientation to Agency-Specific Requirements

    Grades 12

    GPA of 2.5 and 90% Attendance Average


    Students that successfully complete the course and pass the state exam will be waived of all fees. Students who fail the course will be subject to a $250.00 course and book fee.
