Leyden’s Plan to State Issued Tier 3 Mitigations
Dear Leyden Family,
Governor Pritzker gave an update on November 17, 2020 announcing that Illinois will be moving to Tier 3 Mitigations on Friday, November 20. We know that some of you might be wondering what this means for Leyden. As mentioned in our communication on November 6, we will continue to move forward with our response process to the mitigation tiers laid out by our Governor's office.
Due to the evolving situation situation, our goals to inform and update the school community include:
- Timely, frequent, and accurate information through the school year. This includes information about instruction, technology, safety and wellness standards.
- Updates on Illinois Department of Public Health, Illinois State Board of Education, and Center for Disease Control guidelines as they pertain to school programs and the 2020-21 school year.
This page was created to help you find updates related to the 2020-21 school year. Here you will find pages containing:
- letters to families
- video messages from the superintendent
- school schedules
- meal service procedures
- answers to frequently asked questions
- COVID-19 resources
Thank you for your continued support.
