• Leyden H.S. & Chamber by O'Hare Virtual Career Fair

Each year, Leyden High Schools District 212 and the Chamber by O’Hare host a Career Fair consisting of local companies with openings for students and community members. We have also connected this event to post-secondary experiences like colleges, and certificate/trade schools. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Career Fair planning committee has decided to postpone the in-person fair until Fall 2021 and organize a list of Job openings and or virtual presentations offered by our vendors throughout the 2020-2021 school year in lieu of an in-person fair. Check out these awesome local companies and Organizations!

    Leyden Credit Union

Leyden Credit Union has provided “Better Banking” services since it was founded by the teachers and superintendent of District 212 in 1955 as Leyden Schools Credit Union. Membership quickly grew to include all school districts within Leyden Township. In 1994 we became a community credit union welcoming all who live or work in Leyden Township and changed our name to Leyden Credit Union.   Since then, we added the following six additional townships to our charter: Addison, Elk Grove, Lyons, Maine, Proviso, and York. All who live, work, or worship in our Field of Membership, as well as their families, are welcome to join Leyden Credit Union and enjoy the benefits of membership with a full-service financial institution.

Credit unions are owned by their account holders (members) while banks are owned by outside stockholders.  Banks return their profits to their stockholders in the form of dividends while credit unions return their profits to their account holders in the form of low-cost loans, excellent savings rates, and lower and fewer fees.

The credit union industry philosophy of “people helping people” has been a basic part of LCU since the beginning. We continue that tradition today by offering the latest advancements in financial services to our members, including our free mobile banking app, online bill pay, and eSign.
