Employment verification at Leyden is completed through Verifent. Verification of income (VOE/VOI) is also completed through Verifent. Protecting our employees identity is of the utmost importance to us. We use Verifent to confirm the legitimacy of the request and that a valid permissible purpose exists as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Verifiers must submit VOE/VOI requests through Verifent. Please see the instructions below on how to complete a request.
-
Log in at https://www.verifent.com/log-in. Please note that new Verifent users will need to register and create an account before proceeding.
-
When prompted, enter our unique organization code: 8B3AAA

Volunteer Process
Volunteers are a wonderful asset to the school community. They can provide assistance to students through chaperoning as well as providing students assistance with their academics and extracurricular activities. Volunteers play an important role in supporting our students and the school community. A volunteer is anyone who spends a prolonged period of time in contact with our students. If you are interested in volunteering please contact Bridget Bryant at bbryant@leyden212.org or Celestina Rivera at crivera@leyden212.org.
Since volunteers work directly with students there is a specific process that must be followed prior to their first day volunteering. Please see the process below.
-
A faculty or staff member must complete Leyden’s Volunteer Request Form.
-
Once the form is complete the Deputy Superintendent’s office will contact the volunteer to set up an appointment for fingerprinting. Appointments are scheduled Monday through Friday 7:30-4pm during the school year and 7:30-3pm during the summer.
-
The volunteer must complete the Faith’s Law Verification, if applicable, and will need to set up an account through Verifent.
-
Volunteers will need to fill out the annual Volunteer Agreement and sign off on the Board Policies.
Once the volunteer has been approved the volunteer and requesting staff member will receive an email stating the volunteer can begin volunteering.
The volunteer will also be added to the Leyden Volunteer List. This allows other Leyden employees to reach out to the volunteers for additional volunteer opportunities.
