Boys Soccer wins IHSA Regionals

On Saturday, October 25, the Leyden Boys Soccer team won the regional championship against shutting out the Glenbard East Rams with a score of 3 to 0.
"This all comes after an impressive regular season with a 17-3-1 record, taking on one of the toughest schedules in the state," said Assistant Varsity Coach Javier Vasquez. "Their success reflects the program’s dedication, teamwork, and relentless effort throughout both the offseason and the regular season."
Several players also earned postseason honors for their outstanding performances: Rogelio Herrera (All-State), Diego Esquivel and Jose Mendez (All-Sectional), and Ryvin Del Pilar, Luis Olmos, Jonathan Guerrero, Josue Fajardo, and Dylan Huitron (All-Conference).
