Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) students head to state

Numerous Leyden Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) students qualified for the state competition, after participating in the regionals held at College of DuPage in February. Students who excelled in various categories such as Culinary Arts, Education and Fashion Design, move on to the state level, where they compete to qualify for the national competition. The state competition will take place April 10, in Springfield.

The following students will compete at the state competition in Springfield on April 10:

Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is a national Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) for students in Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS). It encourages students to try careers in culinary arts, fashion, interior design, and preschool education, many of which are offered as classes here at Leyden.
