Two students commended in Merit Program

Two Leyden students earned the distinction “commended” in the National Merit Scholarship Program for their performances on the preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT). East Leyden senior Wren Arguezo and West Leyden senior Josh Armedilla are two of 50,000 students nationally commended for this effort. Both students will be honored in person by the Leyden Board of Education on Thursday, October 23.
