Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) students earned outstanding recognition at the State Conference held April 8–10, excelling in events across culinary arts, hospitality, fashion, and early childhood education.

Congratulations to the following medalists: Bronze: Beesan Tawil (Event Management), Kayla McGovern (Fashion Construction), and Charlie Stephens (Charcuterie Board); Silver: Francis Buttitta, Olivia Dogic, and Gabby Fuentes (Hospitality, Tourism, and Recreation); Hailey Cajigas (Charcuterie Board); Joseph Meyers, Joseph O’Neill, and Chloe Stephens (Entrepreneurship Food Truck); and Isabella Donahue and Jaylene Velez (Preschool Lesson); Gold: Cassidy Chihoski (Charcuterie Board), Eleonora Khalash (Pastry Arts – Fondant Cakes), Aleksandra Kamuda (Preschool Lesson), Isabella Laira Lara Juarez (Charcuterie Knife Skills), and Victoria Segundo and David Soto (Salad Production).

Additionally, Allison Huitron placed in the top five in the state in the Frosted Cake Competition, earning a gold medal. Gabby Fuentes, Olivia Dogic, and Francis Buttitta have also qualified for the FCCLA National Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C., this summer.
