Elmhurst University Partnership

What is it?

• Students enrolled in Education Academy 1 or 2 have the opportunity to take EDU 223: Students with Exceptionalities, a 4 credit hour course on campus at Elmhurst University.

When does it happen?

• This course takes place at Elmhurst University during second semester. Students will enroll in EDE 210 period 10 at Leyden HS to travel to Elmhurst University's campus. This class will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:50 PM - 4:20 PM.

What do I do on M/W/F?

• Students can meet with their Education Academy teacher, work in study hall or the library, or go home.

What is the cost?

• This course is free for all students who earn an A, B, or C in the course; students who receive a D, F or Drop will have to pay a $100 fee.
