The Office of Curriculum and Instruction serves the needs of the students, parents/guardians, and staff of District 212. This office oversees the creation and implementation of curriculum in all content areas, while also supporting the assessment of student learning, locally and through state and national assessments.
District 212 offers a comprehensive curriculum through Career Pathways that provides students with opportunities to discover their passion while they earn early college credit, attain industry certifications, and complete work-based learning experiences.
The Office of Curriculum and Instruction is led by Dr. Brian Mahoney, Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction. Along with the Assistant Principals for Teaching and Learning and Department Chairpersons, Dr. Mahoney provides instructional leadership by coordinating district curriculum, instruction, and assessment to increase the achievement of all Leyden High School District 212 students.
