About Us
What is Seniors Plus?
Seniors Plus Credit Recovery is an Alternative Learning Opportunities Program (ALOP) provided in collaboration with West 40 as an alternative route to graduation for students who weren't successful in a regular academic setting.
Seniors Plus allows students who did not earn enough credits to graduate on time a unique second opportunity to obtain their high school diploma. Students are provided a safe and encouraging learning environmen. Students work at their own pace in a self-directed, online learning program. The classroom is managed by a licensed teacher who provides one-to-one instruction to students when when needed. The students may also receive extra support from the program tutor that is present in the classroom on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We try to offer flexibility for those students who may have other responsibilities such as work, childcare or family obligations. This year our program is in session from 8am - 1pm. Students are required to stay for a minimum of three hours daily.
