Meghan Lockerby is the primary athletic trainer at East Leyden High School. She holds a Bachelor of Science in athletic training from the University of Vermont and a Master of Education in athletic training and sports medicine from the University of Virginia. With over 15 years of clinical and administrative experience, Meghan has treated athletes across youth, high school, collegiate, and professional sports. She is certified in Blood Flow Restriction, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, Cupping, Dry Needling, and Mental Health First Aid. Additionally, she serves as a Licensed Training Provider for the American Red Cross and the American Heart Association for CPR/AED. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, reading, writing, traveling, and spending time with her dog, Bella.

Dr. Brian McCall

Dr. McCall is Leyden High School's team orthopedic physician. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine. He specializes in arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, elbow, and knee, as well as rotator cuff repair, ACL injuries, and shoulder instability.

Rebecca Paradis is currently the primary Athletic Trainer at West Leyden.  She graduated from University of Illinois at Chicago in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, followed by graduating from Daemen College in 2018 with a Masters of Science in Athletic Training.  She has been clinically practicing since 2018.  She has experience in high school, collegiate and professional settings.  She holds certifications in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization and Cupping.  She is a licensed CPR instructor for the American Heart Association.  Outside of work she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband, daughter and dog.

Dr. Anthony Savino

Dr. Savino is Leyden High School's team neurologist and a member of our Concussion Oversight Team. He is a board-certified neurologist with fellowship training in sports neurology. He specializes in the evaluation and management of concussion, post-concussion syndrome, post-traumatic headache, and maintenance of long-term brain health in athletes of all ages.
