Teatro Leyden Needs Volunteers!
When: Friday April 16, 2021
Saturday April 17, 2021
Time: Friday - 3:00pm - 10:00pm
Saturday - 8:00am - 10:00pm
Times will be in 2 1/2 hour shifts on Friday and 2 hour shifts on Saturday.
Where: West Leyden Courtyard
Who: Mr. Victor Pilolla or Mr. Frank Bavone
What: Help to build sets. Move items. Set up Lights. Bring out furniture. Move Costumes.
NO EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED!! YOU CAN WORK AS FEW OR AS MANY SHIFTS AS YOU WOULD LIKE.
We are looking for at least 6 volunteers per shift. Come out and have fun while earning volunteer hours.

Scouting for Food - Leyden/Franklin Park Food Drive
When: Saturday, April 17 & 24
Time: 9AM – 2PM (depending on timing)
Where: Leyden Township Parking Lot; 2501 N. Mannheim Rd. Franklin Park, IL

Description: local scouts, with the help of other community groups, will be conducting an April food drive in Franklin Park & Unincorporated Leyden. Our first Saturday (4/17) will consist of walking the donation routes and putting up door hangers on all single family homes. Our second Saturday (4/24) will consist of driving those same routes and picking up food. Volunteers must be able to provide transportation and a vehicle for food pick up. Help out at the Interfaith Outreach food pantry and clothing closet. Help in fulfilling guests’ shopping orders, bagging groceries, carrying items to cars, searching for specific clothing needs and various pantry/closet needs as they arise. Guests are not currently allowed within the pantry house, so your help is needed more than ever to help ensure a smooth process. Directly helping those in our community then helps earn you service hours. A Win for everyone! Thank you.

What: Students of Strength is looking for tutors to teach and mentor middle and high school students. We will be helping the student victims of hurricane Harvey, for both paid and volunteer positions. We want to help these kids get fully caught up, and we need your help before the beginning of the school year.
