Make a Difference Day 2020
On Saturday, October 24th students and teachers from BOTH East and West will be volunteering all over the Leyden community. We will blanket our towns and neighbors with kind acts.
This year's Make a Difference Day will be different. While we will still be volunteering and giving back, all projects will be outdoors. Additionally, students will be dropped off and picked up directly from the service project location. These safety precautions along with temperature checks and facemasks will ensure for a fun and safe day.Service projects run from 9:00-11:30.
Make a Difference Day at Leyden has continued to grow every year. In 2019 we saw our best turnout yet! We saw over 600 students, 40 teachers who came out to support our communities. We completed and worked on over 27 different projects with 11 buses transporting our groups from Melrose Park to Rosemont - and many places in between! There were so many incredible stories that came from the day. It once again proved how caring and hardworking Leyden High School students are.
Permission Slip (please bring this with you on Saturday)
All projects are outdoors. It will be a nice day, but please dress for the weather.
