     Volunteers will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Once filled, the form and/or contacts will stop accepting responses.

    It is VERY important that if you sign up for an event you honor your commitment and SHOW UP!

    Volunteer Time:  9:00am - 11:30am

    Where:  Centre at North Park Banquet Hall  (10040 Addison Ave. , Franklin Park, IL 60131)

    Number of Volunteers Needed:  10

    What: We need volunteers to help set up and take down for the breakfast. Help serve food and clear dishes. Help children with crafts. Help with the photo booth line.

    Franklin Park Teen Nights

    When:  Friday, April 21, 2023

    Time: 6:00pm - 8:00pm  (Volunteer Hours 5:30pm - 8:30pm)

    Where:  Community Center 9560 Franklin Ave., Franklin Park, IL

    What:  Supervise Junior High Dance, help with check-in, and man the bathrooms.  We need about 10 Volunteers.

  • Park District of Franklin Park is sponsoring a

    Earth Day Celebration

     

    When: Saturday  April 22, 2023

    Time: 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

    Volunteer Time: 11:30 am - 2:30 pm

    Where: North Park Field  (10040 Addison Ave, Franklin Park,IL 60131)

    Number of Volunteers Needed:  10

    What: Volunteers would help with the set up and take down for the event.  Help pass out giveaways at the Park District tables. Help with Earth Day crafts at the tables. Help with the Nature games.

    Interfaith Outreach Food Pantry & Clothing Closet

     

    When: Ongoing Saturdays

    Time: 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM (exceptions can be made)

    Where: 2825 Hawthorne St., Franklin Park (little blue house)

    Who/Contact: Lois Sullivan (708) 638-2320.  You MUST contact Ms. Sullivan to coordinate your volunteer hours after you sign up and BEFORE you show up for your volunteer hours

    Help out at the Interfaith Outreach food pantry and clothing closet.  Help in fulfilling guests’ shopping orders, bagging groceries, carrying items to cars, searching for specific clothing needs and various pantry/closet needs as they arise.  Guests are not currently allowed within the pantry house, so your help is needed more than ever to help ensure a smooth process.  Directly helping those in our community then helps earn you service hours.  A Win for everyone!  Thank you.
