I joined the Leyden faculty in January 2016. Being certified to teach both Social Studies and English classes, I have had the opportuntiy to work with every level of student in their study of humanities. Prioir to Leyden, I worked in the field of marketing and interned as media coordinators for law firms, professional associations, and even WTTW. But as a "life-time learner", teaching seemed an obvious and eventual career path. Therefore, I returned to school in 2013 to complete my Masters in the Art of Education from North Park. Since this time I have taught World History, Global Studies, English I, and Fiction with Composition.
