I graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature in 2008. I have been in the classroom in some form or another since 2009 and I have been teaching English at Leyden since 2015.

I am passionate about literature and firmly believe that reading and writing can help us become more compassionate, understanding, open minded individuals. I also believe that literature contains attempts to answer the big questions in life.

I enjoy working with my students to help them become stronger readers, writers, and thinkers so that they can be successful in whatever ventures they choose to pursue in life.
