I am thrilled to be teaching at Leyden High School! I have taught English I, II, III, and Global Studies within the Special Education Department. I have also been a facilitator, working with students in various general education classes. I have also co-taught Civics within the Social Studies Department. I graduated college from Illinois State University with a degree in Special Education, Learning Behavior Specialist 1 with endorsements in English and Social Sciences. I received my Master's Degree from Concordia University focussing on Principal Preparation/School Administration.

I love working with high school students and teaching them to be independent, respectful, and kind people. I am a certified Zumba instructor and huge Chicago sports fan! You will see me at many Leyden sporting events and helping out with various clubs and activities! Currently, I coach Cheerleading and Special Olympics Track and Field.
