EDUCATION

My name is Farrahadoon Durrani, and I am a licensed science teacher at Leyden High School. I graduated from University of Illinois at Chicago in May, 2010 with a bachelor's of Exercise and Fitness. My next steps led me to attend Northeastern Illinois Univeristy where I completed my second bachelors in Biology and recieved my certification of teaching in 2012. Lastly, in 2019 I graduated with a Masters in Administration and Leadership. 

BACKGROUND

I was born and raised in Chicago, IL and attended Mather High school. Growing up I have always been passionate about science and sports. All throughout high school I participated in Cross country and Track & Field. I recieved a scholorship to run for UIC and focused on the 800m and 1 mile run.  In college I was a 4 year letter winner and team captain of the Track and Field team my senior year. 

PERSONAL

 Over the past few years I have become a traveler. I love the idea of going to far away locations, staying in nice suites on ships and in hotels, and experiencing the euphoria of seeing new things.
