Hello Leyden! My name is Ron Murabito and 2022-23 will be my 4th year with District 212 serving as an MTSS Coordinator. For the past two decades, I've served as a leader in education with experience in key roles at the building and district levels.  Some of the roles I've played include High School Social Studies Teacher, Dean, Assistant Principal, Principal, District Instructional Coach, Program Supervisor, and District Coordinator.  My findings are that building strong professional relationships with adults and students primes the school culture for true collaboration; collective responsibility occurs after a clear vision is developed and each stakeholder group has a "voice" at the table. Some of the work I'm involved with here at Leyden is playing a role with the Student Services and Individual Problem-Solving Teams to find solutions to help our students.  I also support online credit recovery course instructors and help develop and implement our new Eagle Time Targeted Seminars.  

I am a passionate leader who understands the value of honoring my word. My wife, Stacey, and I have been married for 23 years and we have three amazing young adults. We enjoy spending time together as a family any chance we get. The adversity of recent years helped me refine my skills of practicing gratitude and providing support to others. Some of my interests include fitness, nutrition, travel, and reading to learn.
