My School Experience

I graduated from Fenton High School in 2005 where I participated in Volleyball, Bowling, Track and Student Athletic Trainer. After graduating High School I attended college at Eastern Illinois University until 2009 where I majored in Physical Education and minored in Health Studies. I also played Volleyball for the EIU's Club Team and participated in many other clubs and activities on campus. In 2013, I attended Aurora University and obtained a Masters Degree in Educator Leadership which was completed in 2015. 

Teaching Experience

In 2010, I started my teaching career at Yorkville High School where I taught many subjects such as Health, Team and Individual sports, Fitness, Beginning Dance, Teambuilding and Self Defense. At Yorkville, I coached Volleyball for many years as well as one year of Competitive Winter Cheerleading.

In 2019, I became a part of the Leyden Township High School Family. I teach Junior/Senior PE and Health at East Leyden. I will also be coaching lower level girls volleyball and be the Head Coach for the Boys Volleyball program.

A little More About Me

I have been married to my wonderful husband, Derek, since 2013. We love to travel and have different experieces from around the world! Together we have one son, Dane. We are excited to be a part of the Leyden Family!!
