I joined Leyden High School at the beginning of the 2020/2021 school year and am so happy to be here! I attended The University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana and majored in English Secondary Education. I went on to obtain my LBS 1 endorsment at National Louis University and am halfway done with my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, also through National Louis University. I currently teach Special Education at the West Leyden Campus. I am passionate about helping students achieve their goals, and encouraging them to pursue fulfilling paths. I love to work collaborativley with others and priortize both my students' and colleagues' opinions.

I am a book worm, like competition, have never met a game I didn't like, and love to road trip! I adopted a quarantine german shepard puppy, Bear, who is currently the center of my world!
