My post-secondary educational journey began at the College of duPage where I originally pursued Civil Engineering. While there I was also an officer in their Engineering club. After some time, I changed my career path to Physics Teaching. After being awarded my A.S. degree I moved onto Illinois State University. While there, I joined the Physics Education research group as an Undergraduate Researcher. I also worked for America Reads/America Counts as a tutor, classroom assistant and after school program advisor. My last semester was spent student teaching at Leyden. I previously taught at the Provisio East Math and Science Academy. I am happy to say that I've returned to Leyden. While I'm not teaching, I enjoy reading, playing video games and spending time with my pets.
