Hello!  My name is Rob Hamann and I have been teaching at Leyden since the 2003-2004 school year.  Growing up in Franklin Park and graduating from East Leyden in 1995 I was a recipient of the outstanding educational experience that Leyden High School District 212 can provide.  After graduation I attended Wheaton College.  Upon graduation from college I had the opportunity to pursue a career as a baseball player traveling the country as a member of the Toronto Blue Jays minor league baseball organization.  During the summer of 2003 my baseball career came to an end and I jumped at the opportunity to begin my teaching career here at Leyden.  I have taught Physical Science, Academy Physical Science, Physics and Honors Physics.   My wife Kelly and I have three children, Mary, J.P. and Libby.  GO EAGLES!
