In 2000, I joined the Leyden faculty as an English teacher and a synchronized swimming coach. (It's quite possible I was hired because I was the only applicant who could also coach water ballet.) I currently teach English I and English I Honors in East Leyden's co.lab. It's an honor to learn and work with the students and teachers in co.lab. Together we explore, question, read, discuss, research, write, and create. 

At home I play outside whenever possible and read a lot. As a family we root for Roger Federer --and Djokovic and Nadal when they're not playing against Federer.
