Welcome to Leyden Mathematics! My name is Bethany Trinka and I began my teaching career at Leyden in 2007. I graduated from Illinois State Univeristy in 2006 with a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and a certification in Secondary Education. I obtained my Master's Degree from Concordia University in 2011 in Curriculum and Instruction. During my time at Leyden I have taught Academy Algebra 1, Intermediate Algebra 2, Algebra I Honors, PreCalculus, and Summer Academy. For the 2015-2016 school year I am teaching Algebra I Honors and PreCalculus. When I'm not in the classroom you will typically find me working one of Leyden's many sporting events.
