Hello!  My name is Jen Strzelczyk and I have been teaching at Leyden since 1996.  For the first 21 years, I worked as a special education teacher and literacy teacher.  Now, I work as the district’s speech language pathologist.  I travel to both East and West Leyden and work with students with varying needs related to speech, language and/or communication.  I love my job and my students!  Another thing I love to do is spend time with my family.  My husband and I have two adult children and one teenager! My youngest child has special needs, which helps me relate to my students and the parents of my students.  I also enjoy cooking, traveling and relaxing with a good book (when I have time!).
