Hi!  My name is Kristen Navar and I have had the pleasure of teaching at Leyden High Schools since 1999.  During this time, I have taught at both campuses but most of my time has been spent teaching at West.  I have had the opportunity to teach within the PASS Program, Cross Categorical, Facilitation classrooms and for the past few years I have been a part of the BRIDGE program.  I enjoy helping students reacch their individual potential and strive to inspire them to learn something new every day! 

I hold a Bachelor's of Science in Education degree from Illinois State University and a Master's of Arts in Teaching from Aurora University.  In addition, I have been an adjunct professor with Benedictine University teaching other educators which allowed me the opportunity to share all the fabulous things we are doing here at Leyden!
