Hello! I have been teaching high school English since 2002, first for six years at De La Salle Institute on the South side of Chicago and then at Leyden since 2008. I currently teach American Studies, English III American Literature, and English IV AP Literature. I have also taught Honors American Literature and English IV Honors at East and West Leyden. I will also be helping to run the Service Club at East Leyden this year and plan to take a group of students to Peru in July 2022. I'm looking forward to a great year back at Leyden in person!

Outside of school, I love spending time with my husband and three young children, running, reading, and traveling as much possible.
