    Attention Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors in the top 20% of your classes by unweighted GPA. In your email, you should have received an invitation to apply for membership into National Honor Society. Applications are submitted on-line and are due no later than Friday, January 29th at 3:30 pm. Please see Mr. Pazol in 145 if you have a question about your eligibility or your application.     Rho Kappa Social Studies Honors Society is looking for interested sophomores, juniors, and seniors for inclusion in our honors society.  The application is on the Clubs and Activities page of the Leyden website.  If you have any questions, please see Ms. Hoelscher in room 217. (2/12)

     

    Freshmen, sophomores and juniors! Are you shopping for which elective classes to take next year? If so, visit the Elective Department Open House on Thursday, January 23rd, from 3:00-3:25. Just visit the Art, Business, FACS, Industrial Tech, Modern Languages, or Music areas of the building to speak with teachers and see what the departments have to offer!     Do you have a younger sibling from 1st grade - 8th grade?The Leydenettes Dance team is hosting their annual Little Leydenettes Dance Clinic on Friday February 7th. We will be performing during halftime for the Varsity boys basketball game against Addison Trail. Contact a current Leydenette or Coach Cullen or Coach Roman on how to register.The cost is only $20 if you register by Monday January 27th! (1/26)

    Please join the girls basketball team and Best Buddies for pack the place! You can support the girls basketball team & watch a Special Olympics Basketball game at halftime! Pack the place will be Thursday, January 23rd at theWest Leyden Field House from 6:20 pm-7:45 pm.(1/23)

    COLLEGES AND SCHOLARSHIPS

    Attention Sophomores & Juniors, there is NEW information regarding changes to summer school enrollment. Registration for enrollment in Consumer Ed in summer school will take place in January. Students who wish to take Consumer Ed as a summer enrichment course will have the option to choose either an online course or an in-seat summer school course.  Registration will open at 7:30 a.m. on January 21 and will remain open until it is full.  Students will be enrolled on a first-come, first-serve basis and must pay the $125 summer school fee at the time of registration.

    All other summer school course registration outside of Consumer Ed will follow the same registration procedures beginning later in second semester.
