Marching Band
_____________
Over 220 students strong, the Marching Band is Leyden's largest student organization and gives performances for countless thousands each year. Membership in Leyden's Marching Band and Color Guard is open to all students regardless of age, ability, or experience.
Exciting performance tours have included Disney World, Cedar Point, Washington, D.C., the University of Notre Dame, the Ohio State Veterans' Home, the Indiana Dunes, and Navy Pier.
Leyden's Marching Band and Color Guard have also performed for professional and collegiate sporting events, including the very first game in the new Soldier Field for the Chicago Bears, the Chicago Rush, Northwestern University, and Elmhurst College.
Because Marching Band is a reasonable time commitment and smartly scheduled, students from every sport at Leyden, cheerleading, poms, orchesis, choir, orchestra, drama, student council, homecoming court, and clubs can all also participate in marching band.
Students earn academic class credit for participating in marching band while making great friendships, memories, and enjoying fun tour opportunities.
