I joined Leyden’s Student Services team in 2002. Prior to joining the team, I taught English for five years and served as an aide in the Literacy program for two. I hold a BS in Sociology from the University of Illinois, Urbana and an MA in English Education from the University of Illinois at Chicago.   I also hold an MA in School Counseling from Northeastern Illinois University. I serve as the career counselor and the student’s liaison to the Military. I am a member of the Des Plaines Valley Region Student Services Committee, have sat on numerous advisories at Triton College and I am a member of the Illinois Association for College Admission Counseling. I am also the Class of 2019 Advisory Sponsor.

In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, watching my kids play soccer and field hockey, skiing and spending time with family and friends.
