I have been a member of the Leyden staff since 2009. Before I received a Masters in Social Work from the University of Illinois, I participated for 2 years in an AmeriCorp Program in Minneapolis, MN called College Possible. It was through College Possible that I first experienced working with high school students and realized the importance of education as a transformative factor towards a more successful future. I primarily work with students identified as English Language Learners (ELL) and ELL Special Education Students.
