On Saturday, February 8, Leyden High School District 212 hosts a once-in-a-lifetime gala in honor of its 100th anniversary. The evening includes dinner, dancing, live and silent auctions, raffles, and special treats. Auction items include a Jonathan Cain (Songwriter/Keyboardist of the band Journey) signed guitar, paintings by Leyden alum and artist Tom Lynch, vacation packages and themed baskets.

In honor of its 100th anniversary, Leyden is hosting a family picnic for current and future eagles on Saturday, May 17, 2025, on the grounds of East Leyden.

Leyden presents a traveling exhibit featuring the 100-year history of the district which will travel to local community organizations throughout the 2024-25 school year.
