     Volunteers will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis.  Once filled, the form and/or contacts will stop accepting responses.

    It is VERY important that if you sign up for an event you honor your commitment and SHOW UP!

  • Leyden Student Summit Volunteers

    When: Thursday, June 6th,  AND Friday, June 7th

    Time: 9:00am - 2:00pm

    Where: West Leyden High School (1000 N Wolf Rd. Northlake)

    What: It is June 6-7th, from 9am-2pm, at West Leyden. We offer 2 days of hands-on workshops to kids going into 3rd-8th grade. Most of the attendees are from our feeder schools (aka future students!). We try to offer 8 different workshops, 4 per day, that are run by Leyden students. Responsibilities would include taking attendance and general oversight of an assigned small group.

  • When: Friday, June 14, 2019

    Time:  5:00pm - 9:00pm

    Where:  Melrose Park Public Library, 801 Broadway Ave.  Melrose Park, IL 60160

    What:   You will help set up the event, help with assorted duties during the event  and help clean up at the end of the event.

     We are celebrating the 10 year Anniversary of the Kiddieland closure!  All things Kiddieland!  We will have the original train, sign and other memorabilia in the parking lot of the Library.  There will be food, fun and entertainment. 

    We need volunteers to help with all areas of the celebration.

  • Franklin Park Fest Volunteer

    When: Saturday, June 8, 2019

    Time: 1 hour shifts from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM

    Where: Clock Tower Park, Ruby and Franklin Avenue, Franklin Park, IL

    What: You will lend a hand working on train duty,  working in 1 hour shifts or more.  Volunteers will get the first look at some of the unique and vintage rail cars on display.  Volunteers will receive a fest t-shirt and a food voucher.

  • Interfaith Outreach ~ Food 4 Life and the Clothing Closet are looking for Volunteers


    When: Ongoing Saturdays

    Time: 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM (or any time frame in between)

    Where: 2825 Hawthorne St (the little blue house)

    Who/Contact: Lois Sullivan (708) 638-2320 lsullivan@wolve.com

    Help out at the Food 4 Life food pantry and Clothing Closet. Help guests with shopping needs or sort and hang clothing, various ‘jobs’ to do. Directly help those in our community and earn some service hours!

  • Students of Strength Needs Your Help

    What:  Students of Strength is looking for tutors to teach and mentor middle and high school students.  We will be helping the student victims of hurricane Harvey, for both paid and volunteer positions.  We want to help these kids get fully caught up, and we need your help before the beginning of the school year.  If you or someone you know would be interested in joining our tutoring team, fill out the interest form above.
