All Leyden families will be receiving a debit card, by mail, directly from the state, in the next few weeks. This is part of a program called P-EBT and the purpose is to provide families with additional funds on a debit card, to be used for the purchase of groceries and food. The amount of funds on each card is unique to each student and is calculated based on attendance.
Please note, this is not a scam or a fraudulent credit card. Please do not throw this card away when you receive it. All families will receive this card as long as their current address is on file with the school district. There is no need to apply for this state-funded benefit.
If you need to update your address, please contact the school directly. Please note, this is not a Leyden program, and is fully administered by the state. If you have any questions about the P-EBT program, call the helpline toll free at 1-833-621-0737 or visit their website.
