Parents, Grades 8-11: Have you Registered?!
LPU is the BIGGEST parent event of the year - Leyden Parent University! It is also one of the PARENT EXPECTATIONS events. We expect you there! Sign up TODAY!
Scholarships Awarded on April 27!
Each year we give out TWO Scholarships to parents who attend LPU to be applied to two student’s postsecondary plan upon graduation. We do this in an effort to reinforce that PARENT PARTICIPATION in their child’s postsecondary planning is critical to their child’s success!
LPU is a parent-only event taking place at West Leyden on Saturday, April 27. The event will help support and empower you to assist your child(en) at Leyden find success in and beyond high school. It’s Pizza!Pizza!® time! Time for you, your friends, and your family to get your Little Caesars® Pizza Kits! Have them on hand for quick dinners, parties or entertaining! Buy several Kits and stock your freezers! Thanks!
There are 2 ways to submit your order.
1- Pay for your order at PizzaKit.com. You will have the option to pay cash or via credit card for your entire brochure order, or just for your personal purchase.
Place your orders online and pay by credit card.
Go to PizzaKit.com
Click on Products, then Order Pizza Kits
Select Ship My Order to the Group – DO NOT SELECT SHIP TO HOME
Enter Fundraiser ID #(366143)
Select “Supporter” to only pay for the Kits you personally wish to purchase.
Do not submit these orders on any Order Form
2- Turn in your completed order form and payment to the principal’s office: Please make checks payable to East Leyden Parents’ Club. Fill out the top portion of your order form with your name and the best contact phone number (cell phones preferred).
Sale dates: 10/23/18 – 11/15/18
Be sure your order form is correctly tallied!
Double check all rows and columns.
Late orders will NOT be accepted
Pick Up: 11/30/18
Remember, if the products thaw they can be refrozen.
Products must be picked up on the 30th, as there is no storage area for them.

SUMMER SCHOOL 2019
Summer school registration takes place on:
Class of 2023 January 21 - 24
Upperclassmen March 18 - May 31
Summer school classes will be held at the West Campus. Classes will run as follows:
June 10 - 13 July 8 - 11
June 17 - 20 July 15 - 18
June 24 - 27 July 22 - 25
There will be NO Classes the Week of July 1.
Tuition is $125 per .5 credit. Courses will be closed when registrations have reached maximum size or canceled if there is insufficient paid registration. Seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis and enrollments past the listed deadline will be considered based on space availability. Students should see their counselor if they have questions regarding summer courses.
Option #1: Leyden Website Enrollment. Registration can be completed at www.leyden212.org.
Option #2: On-site enrollment at each campus. Cashiers at each campus will enroll students and accept payment. Cashiers can accept checks, cash, or credit/debit cards (Visa/MasterCard). Checks should be made payable to: Leyden High School.
Full payment will be due at the time of registration, and refunds will only be issued if a course is canceled due to insufficient enrollment. Fees also apply to courses to be audited without credit.
We will offer bus transportation to students who live within the district and are more than 1.5 miles from West Leyden High School.

Summer Behind-The-Wheel Instruction
The cost of registration will be $250. Registration for driver education behind-the-wheel instruction will begin on April 10. There will be NO Classes the Week of July 1.
Dates for BTW sessions are:
Session One: Monday, June 3 – Thursday, June 13
Session Two: Monday, June 17 – Thursday, June 27
Session Three: Monday, July 8 – Thursday, July 18
Session Four: Monday, July 22 – Thursday, August 1
