SENIOR Parents: FAFSA Completion
There is still time to complete the FAFSA with your senior student - they need your assistance. If your child is planning to go to a 2 or 4-year college or any type of trade/vocational school AND they are eligible to complete the FAFSA, they should do so right away. To be eligible to complete the FAFSA, the student must have a social security number. The FREE GRANT MONEY that is awarded to those eligible through completing the application is given out on a first-come, first-served basis. The sooner the application is completed, the better the chance of receiving the money to help pay for school. Completing the FAFSA is one more way to keep students’ options open! If your child is not eligible to complete the FAFSA, please make an appointment with his/her counselor to discuss financial aid opportunities that are available.
